Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Wasilat Adefemi-Adegoke, recently paid a courtesy visit to the management of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC).
Recall the Oluyole Warriors finished the just-ended 2023/24 Premier Football League (NPFL) season in fourth position with 62 points. Adegoke during the visit held a close door meeting with the management team headed by Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan and the team’s technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote.
Olaniyan, while speaking after the meeting, revealed that issues pertaining to the team’s progress were discussed, adding that moves to ensure the retention of the team’s tactician Ogunbite has commenced.
“I can say that the meeting kick-starts immediate preparations for the next season and also the beginning of efforts to keep our technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote” he said. Apparently satisfied with the performance of the team in the just concluded season, stakeholders, supporters and fans of the Oluyole Warriors, have tasked the management to ensure the retention of the Oracle, as coach Ogunbote is fondly called as well as the majority of the players paraded this season.
